About Us
Mayame was founded by Nicolien in 2022. She could not find a bag for her everyday adventures that was both practical and beautiful. She decided to take matters in her own hands and designed a line of handmade bags that prove that style and function can go hand in hand. When she became a mother she had a similar need for a diaper bag that was both stylish and functional; the Mayame diaper bag was added to the collection.

Mayame maintains a committed dedication to sustainable practices. Our bags, meticulously handcrafted in Europe, feature ultra-resilient OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics and are entirely vegan. Embracing eco-conscious packaging, we dispatch our bags in recycled cardboard boxes, minimizing material usage. We produce small collections, made to order, minimizing waste of valuable materials.
